Thank you for inquiring about a new patient examination.
Below is some information regarding what to expect from your first appointment with us.
In summary we use this appointment to get to know you and to find out what your dental wish is. From this we then assess your dental health, as well as discuss your implant treatment options.
On making an appointment we will send you a personalised welcome pack introducing you to our practice. Upon arrival at your first appointment you will receive a warm welcome from our reception team and have a tour of the practice.
Before seeing our dentist one of our highly trained treatment coordinators will then get to know you. This will be an opportunity for you to express any dental concerns that you may have as well as discuss what your ultimate goal is.
Our treatment coordinator will then introduce you to one of our implant dentists Liam Esposito or Kavit Mehta who will then perform your new patient examination.
We will then tailor your treatment options to your specific needs and concerns. This will involve discussing payment options and giving you information about any treatment involved.
For your first appointment it is important that you know what you are getting. For this reason we have listed the things that will be performed during your New Patient Examination:
For those who have gaps between their remaining teeth it can effect confidence when smiling and it can also be a problem when chewing food.
For some having a missing back tooth can affect their ability to eat their favourite foods. Being unable to chew food effectively through not having back teeth can impact upon your diet.
An implant supported bridge is a great solution for filling gaps that you may have between your remaining teeth.
For some ending up with no teeth can be a prolonged and painful journey whereby they knew they inevitably would end up with no teeth in an entire jaw.
For some having missing teeth can be an aesthetic concern affecting confidence. For others it can be a functional problem as it can impact upon your ability to chew your favourite foods.
